Blake Treadway lead the trail day and here is his report for the day.
“Saturday started out cloudy and soon turned into a wet and muddy day, but that didn’t stop about 40 hearty folks from turning out to finish dialing in The Sh*t, and Eagle Scout on Galby this past weekend.
After dodging the hoards of fisherman out for opening day at Lake Padden and enjoying some coffee and HOMEMADE coffee cake courtesy of Kae Moe of Kulshan Cycles we broke into two groups and headed up the hill to give some trails some needed love.
One group went down to the new jump section on Eagle Scout. A nice step down to step up jump section was started on a previous build day and it got finished up very nicely by a talented hard working group of builders.
The other group went up the hill and completed a small flow enhancing reroute at the start of The Sh*t. Pump Track now flows directly into The Sh*t and rides as one trail now.
A huge thanks goes out to all of the volunteers for the hard work on Saturday and for turning out all winter in all weather conditions! The trails are running better than ever. Lets roll!!”
