This Saturday is National Trails Day and it’s always a good time to join up with our fellow trail users and the DNR to get trails on Blanchard in prime shape.
As in past years, we’ll be working with the Department of Natural Resources on Blanchard Mountain. The work plan is to do trail improvements to the Larry Reed Trail and Max’s Shortcut – some of which has been impacted by recent timber harvests.
This day is co-hosted by the DNR, WMBC, Backcountry Horsemen, Pacific Northwest Trail and the paraglider/hang gliders. There will be coffee and snacks in the AM and an incredible bbq at the hang glider lookout in the afternoon that can’t be missed!
