VOLUNTEER TRAIL DAYS
Trail Days are an easy and fun way to give back to the trails that we all know and love. SPONSOR A TRAIL DAY
We love to partner with local businesses and appreciate their support. You can sponsor a trail day and provide lunch to the participants (~25-35 people) and in exchange we will add your logo to our website and create a designated social post highlighting your business and donation. Interested in sponsoring a trail day? Please email info@wmbcmtb.org for more details.
RIDE LEADING
Do you enjoy sharing the trails with others? Check out our options for ride leading with youth and adults on our local trails and share the magic of mountain biking with others! No experience necessary, just be comfortable riding and navigating Galbraith Mountain on your bike.
Read more about our Group Ride Volunteer Requirements here.
RIDE WITH KIDS
Volunteers not only help instruct the kids in trail building, but are also great role models to mostly middle school aged kids. The participants learn great trail building skills, mountain bike riding practice, and environmental sustainability.
Are you a Spanish-speaking adult excited about building community through connection to the land and access to the outdoors? We are looking for ride leaders to support our weekly rides on Galbraith Mountain and the Waterfront Pump Track!
Thanks to our many volunteers, we are able to offer multiple clubs that serve more than 500 youth participants annually. These clubs include several elementary and middle school bike clubs, our Flying Squirrels girl's club, and our partnership with Vamos Outdoors Project.
RIDE WITH ADULTS
JOYRIDERS
Women-identifying ride leaders take small groups of womxn on no-drop rides on week day evenings and weekends. We provide ride leader training if you are interested!
