Clothing: (At parents’ discretion)

It is likely that kids will get cold and possibly wet. To ensure a comfortable experience for them having warm and dry clothes will help them enjoy and appreciate being out in the elements. Here is what we recommend:

  • Sturdy closed-toe shoes with a non-slick sole. NO sandals or crocs!!!
  • Shorts or leggings that will not catch in the chain ring (no loose cuff long pants)
  • Rain gear – Jacket and pants (In case of rain – pretty likely in the Fall!)
  • Jacket (If weather is cool)
  • Shirt that is dry fit or tech material, if possible (Cotton gets very wet with sweat and can make you feel cold)
  • Knee and Elbow Pads, if you have them
  • Gloves, if you have them (falling on the hands is common, and cold hands are no fun)

Other gear we recommend:

  • Hydration pack or water bottle (non-glass)
  • Snack (help keep your kids energy levels up)
  • Small Backpack (To put water, snack, extra clothes)
